Terms & Conditions
Last updated 23 June 2026
These terms set out the basis on which you can use the Family Conflict Institute website and the information on it. By using this website, you agree to these terms.
1. About these terms
This website at familyconflictinstitute.com.au is operated by Family Conflict Institute (“FCI”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By accessing or using the website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
These terms govern your use of the website only. The terms that apply when you enrol in a program are set out separately in your enrolment agreement and student handbook, which take precedence over this page in relation to your training.
2. Using this website
You agree to use this website lawfully and respectfully, and not to:
- use the website in any way that is unlawful, misleading or harmful;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website, its systems or its data;
- interfere with the operation of the website, introduce malicious code, or place an unreasonable load on it; or
- copy, reproduce or republish content from the website except as permitted below or with our written permission.
3. Course information
We take care to keep the information on this website accurate and current. However, course details, including fees, inclusions, entry requirements, units, work placement arrangements and availability, may change from time to time. Information on this website is general in nature and does not form part of any agreement between us. The current details for any program will be confirmed with you before you enrol.
The nationally recognised training is delivered and assessed by Archer Institute Pty Ltd (RTO #45020), the registered training organisation responsible for that training. Final accreditation as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner is granted by the Australian Government Attorney-General’s Department, not by FCI, and is subject to its requirements. Completing a program does not guarantee accreditation, registration or any particular employment outcome.
4. Enrolment, fees and payments
Enrolment in a program, the fees payable, payment plans, and any refund or withdrawal terms are governed by the enrolment agreement and student handbook you receive as part of enrolling. Please read those documents carefully before you enrol. Any fees quoted on this website are in Australian dollars and may change before you enrol.
5. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, all content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images and layout, is owned by or licensed to FCI and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print content for your own personal, non-commercial use. You must not otherwise reproduce, distribute or use our content without our prior written permission.
6. Third-party links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites for your convenience, such as government and regulatory bodies. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link does not imply that we endorse the linked website.
7. Disclaimer and liability
The website and its content are provided on an “as is” basis. While we make every effort to keep the website accurate and available, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website is excluded.
8. Privacy
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the “last updated” date shown at the top. By continuing to use the website after a change, you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
